The famed Kuta beach: 5km long sandy beach with perfect powerful waves from the Indian Oceans, making Bali a Surfers' Paradise. Besides surfing, other activities like swimming, sun bathing, strolling, kite flying or waiting for a sunset are popular too.

Surfboards for rent for Rp20,000-80,000. Don't know how to surf? There are many Learn to Surf schools from a 2.5 hours introductory lesson to a five day courses OR from a Balinese instructor at the beach on the spot!

Foot Massage service for an incredibly low price of IR30,000 per hour!! Be Sure to agree to a price for a specific duration to avoid being ripped off and get angry later.

The Wall of Kuta Beach is a two meter white sandstone built along the roadside to fence off the sand to nearby cafes and restaurants and to protect the surrounding areas from sea abrasion. But it also block the beautiful views of the beach!

Asia's 1st Hard Rock Hotel - built on a 3 hectare land, against the shores of Kuta Beach.

Adjacent to Hard Rock Hotel is Hard Rock Cafe Bali, a leading entertainment venue and their Rock Shop where fans hunt for iconic Hard Rock merchandises.

The Bali Bomb Memorial built on the site of the bombed Paddy's Pub where 202 people were killed in two massive explosions in 2002. There is a large marble plaque bearing the names and nationalities of those killed during the bombing.

A sad visit to the Bomb Memorial got brighten up with a happy drink - Soda Gembira (Happy Soda) is a popular drink in Indonesia. Served in a tall glass with condensed milk, syrup and ice together with a bottle of Bali soda. Pour the soda into the glass and mix. Gembira? Oh Ya, amat gembira!!
