Chiang Mai Flower Festival is one of the biggest flower shows held every year in the month of February. The annual Chiang Mai Flower Festival features an impressive showcase of traditional and contemporary floral art and Lanna cultural splendour.
The 36th Chiang Mai Flower Festival was held from 3th - 5th February 2012 with a bazaar along the moat and at Suan Buak Haad City Park while the parade took place on Saturday, 4th February along Thapae Road all the way to the city Park.

The Bazaar featured exhibition and contests of floral and landscaping, flower and plant stalls, OTOP (One Town One Product) products, agricultural produce, gardening accessories and equipment for sale at economical prices. In addition to that, there are food, snacks, drink stalls and all kinds of everything.
The festival also contributed Chiang Mai’s horticultural industry which has steadily grown in importance as one of Thailand’s major exporters of fresh cut flowers, ornamental plants, and a wide range of other horticultural products. A total of 222 varieties of flowering and ornamental plants were being on display during the three-day event.
